Our 135 gal Mixed Reef Set-up

Follow along as we set up this aquarium using proven methods for a successful coral reef display.  You can easily
duplicate our system and achieve your own coral reef tank.

This Acrylic aquarium was purchased used for $300.  The Stand is 2x6s and exterior plywood, painted with seven coats
of Acrylic Latex paint.  I painted the back of the aquarium using the same paint.  The tank was set up in march 2006.

The filter in the stand is a standard wet/dry trickle filter but, we don't utilize it in the normal way.
